OUR STAR IS BORN!

Adri Anne Neumann finally made her grand entrance into this world on 3/29/2012, she weighed 6 Lbs. 11 oz. 19 and a half inches long. We have had a lot of people ask how to say her name it's short A so it's A-dree. She took her time getting here, and there was a film crew on stand by that filmed the delivery for an Intermountain Healthcare commercial (I was assured that none of my "details" will be aired on cable television) ....and yes they had a hair and make up girl there to spruce me up before they came in....however she came in at about 7:30 and Adri wasn't born until 11, so it was all messed up by then anyway and to be honest I was kind of glad because how many women give birth with bright pink lipstick?

After we were escorted to our recovery room Adri was taken to get an assessment in the nursery and while they were doing this they discovered that her blood sugar was very low and a few other things didn't seem right so they rushed her off to the NICU. She had to stay there for 4 days until everything stabilized on it's own and then she was released to us. She is doing great now and is already weighing over 7 Lbs. Kayla is adjusting to her new sister, she is definitely showing signs of jealousy when I hold Adri, but Kayla asks to hold her often and hopefully one day they will be best friends :).  Also they had photographers at the hospital that took some photos while we were in the NICU and we couldn't resist getting them...I know we are suckers.
